Temple Health provides free language access services for patients who prefer to communicate in a language other than English, or who have hearing or sensory impairments. These services are designed to ensure you can fully understand and participate in your care.
Interpretation and Translation Services Include:
- In-house Spanish-speaking medical interpreters
- Credentialed bilingual staff members to supplement interpreter services
- Professional interpreters from external agencies in over 100 languages, including American Sign Language (ASL)
- Qualified interpreters available via phone, video, and Telehealth
- Translation of written documents, educational materials, and more
- Volume-enhancing devices for patients who are hard of hearing
You will be offered communication options that best meet your needs. We will make every effort to honor your preferred method. If a specific service is not immediately available, an alternative will be provided while we work to fulfill your request.
