- Use of impedance during esophageal manometry and esophageal pH monitoring to assess transit and reflux

Treatment Philosophy
My approach to patient care includes obtaining a careful patient history of the symptoms, obtaining carefully selected tests to evaluate the patient's symptoms, reviewing the results of the tests with the patient and deciding on the appropriate treatment for the symptoms and disorder together.

Dr. Parkman made me feel heard and understood while explaining what proposed treatment plan would be, he also stated we will meet in a month to see if it is helping or not so if it's not we can move onto something else rather than suffering for months. He's also very funny and has a great bedside manner and sense of humor. I'd recommend anyone to him!
