Pamela A. Vasquez, a certified recovery specialist with Temple University Hospital’s Recovery Overdose Survivor Engagement (R.O.S.E.) program, wrote an opinion piece for the Philadelphia Inquirer about her past experiences with substance use disorder and her journey to becoming a certified recovery specialist. Ms. Vasquez works at the Temple University Hospital-Episcopal campus.
