Temple Health and 6ABC-TV collaborated on a sponsored segment about blood clots, specifically when they travel from the legs to the lungs and become a pulmonary embolism. The segment featured Parth M. Rali, MD, Assistant Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, and patient Nicole Criswell. Dr. Rali emphasized the team approach and input of radiology, pulmonology, cardiology, and others in treating a pulmonary embolism.
