Highmark Blue Shield has announced an in-network provider contract with Temple University Health System. The contract will begin Jan. 1, 2024. Coverage by the Philadelphia Business Journal and Pittsburgh Business Times included comments from Nick J. Barcellona, MBA, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of TUHS. Becker’s Payer Issues and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette also highlighted the news.
IMPORTANT: Beginning at 8:00 AM on September 3, Temple University Hospital – Main Campus (Broad and Ontario Streets) will no longer provide Labor and Delivery services. All childbirth services will be relocated to our new hospital location.
