Amy J. Goldberg, MD, FACS, Interim Dean and George S. Peters, MD and Louise C. Peters Chair and Professor of Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Surgeon-in-Chief of Temple Health, joined Slate’s “What Next” podcast, where she called on the media to show photos of the bodies of shooting victims to help the public understand the damage that occurs from a weapon like an AR-15. Dr. Goldberg also described the programs she has co-created with Scott Charles, Trauma Outreach Manager at Temple University Hospital.
