Scott Charles, MAPP, FCPP, Trauma Outreach Manager for Temple University Hospital, spoke with KYW Newsradio about Temple’s Safe Bet program, which gives out free gun locks – no questions asked. Over the weekend, a 3-year-old was shot in the eye and later died after investigators believe she accidentally shot herself with a relative’s gun. Scott also discussed the program’s expansion.
