Adil I. Khan, MSc, PhD, Medical Director of Point-of-Care Testing & Clinical Chemistry Laboratories at Temple University Health System and Associate Professor of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, held a two-day symposium on “Point-of-Care Testing: Bridging the Disparity Gap in Healthcare” at Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad, Pakistan, in March 2023, as part of an IFCC (International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine) collaboration with the Pakistan Society of Chemical Pathologists. Dr. Khan is the Chair of the IFCC Committee on Point-of-Care Testing.
