Research by Zehra Dhanani, MD, a second-year fellow in pulmonary and critical care at Temple University Hospital, was included in Healio Pulmonology’s recap of the “top news” from the 2024 ATS International Conference. Dr. Dhanani’s research showed text message-based education can boost physicians’ confidence in treating tobacco use disorder, an area identified as lacking in clinician training.
