Rohit Gupta, MD, Director of the Sarcoidosis Program at Temple University Hospital, provided commentary to Medscape on outside research presented at the ATS International Conference that found socioeconomic factors – such as age, race, and insurance impact – were associated with greater disease severity at the time of initial presentation in adults with sarcoidosis.
