Leah Croll, MD, Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, offered insight to Healthline on a new study published in JAMA Neurology about how specific genetic variants may impact a person’s risk of Alzheimer’s disease, based on demographic factors like sex and ethnicity. Dr. Croll was not involved in the study.
