Joanna J. Beros, MD, Assistant Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, offered Reuters Health expert analysis of a new study that showed that antibiotics are overprescribed for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and particularly for mild-to-moderate disease. Dr. Beros offered comments on the study as well as details on how the Temple Lung Center approaches this issue.
