PhillyVoice interviewed Jamie Garfield, MD, Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, for a story about the American Lung Association’s annual “State of the Air” report. The Philadelphia region received a failing grade and Dr. Garfield explained how poor air quality can affect the health of Philadelphians, especially residents of color.
