The CDC recently released a new review on American smoking cessation trends in 2022, which found few smokers who want to quit seek help from health care providers. Jamie Garfield, MD, Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, provided commentary to Medscape on the clinical implications of the review’s findings.
