Jamie Garfield, MD, Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, provided commentary to Healio Pulmonology on a study published in BMJ Open Respiratory Research that found women face an elevated risk for COPD regardless of cigarette smoking status.
