Daniel Edmundowicz, MS, MD, FACP, FACC, Chief of Cardiology at Temple University Hospital, Professor and Vice Chair of Program Development in the Department of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, and Medical Director of the Temple Heart & Vascular Institute, provided comments to CBS3 following the release of a new study from the American Heart Association that showed that 48 percent of Americans have some type of cardiovascular disease.
