A new study found that having stronger muscles may help stave off type 2 diabetes in those with inherited risk for the disease. Ajaykumar D. Rao, MD, MMSc, FACP, Chief of the Section of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, offered comments to HealthCentral on the findings.
